Our Orchards

We maintain two orchards with over 100 varieties of apples, some pears, plums, mulberries, a persimon and a medlar. There is also a small nursery for the propagation of fruit trees.

Our Gardens

Produce from Gardens is used in our products and the meals served at the Old Cheese Factory.

We keep rare and cross breed chickens for eggs, meat, waist disposal, fertilizer and fun. Breeds include Hamburgs (black, golden spangled, white), Aracana, Belgium bantams, Pekins, New Hampshire, Silkies, Jungle Fowl and Welsumer.
